Landscape and Lighting Act District/Zones

Project Scope
The Landscaping and Lighting Act Districts are formed pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act (LLAD) of 1972 of Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
Project Design, Construction, and Management
These Districts provided for maintenance of landscaped areas and other open space areas designated within the boundary of the Districts for which maintenance easements have been granted to the County.
Benefiting properties pay an assessment through their property taxes bills to maintain and service the landscaping and appurtenant improvements within these Districts.
